Our time at the MTC has been fantastic! We have been in classes and practicing teaching all day long, from early morning until the evening. I cannot begin to describe how much we have learned or how great a spiritual experience it has been. If couples who have not yet served a mission could see even a small glimpse of how great the MTC is, they would be beating down the door of the Bishop's office to turn in mission papers. Any perceived obstacle, whether health or finances or family or whatever, would become insignificant and not worth delaying the great blessings and joy of being at the MTC.
Sister Sutherland is working on a blog entry that summarizes some of the many great experiences we have had here at the MTC. It has been such a grand experience, that I don't know how she will be able to summarize it. Her post might be more like a book. Stay tuned...
Below is a picture of the 77 senior missionaries that entered the MTC with us. We are right in the center, two rows from the top (you can click once on the picture to make it larger). This group is going to countries large and small throughout the world. In the 11 days we were here at the MTC we have come to know and love everyone in this group. Two weeks of wonderful spiritual experiences forms a great bond between people.
